When should Cat6, Cat6A or fibre be used?
The choice depends on bandwidth, distance, electrical interference, PoE demand, pathways and future growth. Fibre is well suited to backbones, longer distances and electrical isolation.
Is every data outlet tested?
Where included in scope, each point is tested with appropriate certification equipment and issued with a labelled result. Non-compliant links are corrected before handover.
Are labelling and as-built drawings included?
A professional handover should label cables, patch panels, outlets and racks, and update route drawings and schedules to reflect the installed condition.
